Donation terms
What you can expect when you give to Noah's Story Charity online - how your gift is taken, where it goes, your receipt, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Last updated: November 2026
These terms apply to gifts you make to Noah’s Story Charity through this website. Please read them before you give. They are written to be clear rather than clever, and if anything is unclear you are welcome to ask us before you donate.
Who you are giving to
Noah’s Story Charity is a registered charity in Northern Ireland (Reg. No. 110845). You can contact us through our contact page or at info@noahsstory.com.
Your gift
A donation is a voluntary gift. You receive no goods or services in return, and there is no expected amount and no obligation. Gifts are taken in pounds sterling (GBP). The smallest gift this website accepts is shown on the donation form.
How your payment is taken
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Noah’s Story Charity never sees or stores your card details. Your bank or card provider may ask you to confirm the payment before it is completed.
Your receipt
As soon as your donation is confirmed, we email a receipt to the address you gave. If it does not arrive, please check your junk folder and then contact us with the date and amount of your gift so that we can send another.
Where your gift goes
When you give, you choose where you would like your gift to go. We will use it for that purpose. If that purpose is fully funded, or can no longer be carried out, we will use your gift for the closest purpose within our charitable work, as our trustees decide.
Donating a Good Grief Kit
When you choose to donate a Good Grief Kit you also choose which kit: Littles, Middles, Teens or Adults. Your gift supports the charity in providing kits of that kind to people who need them. You do not receive a kit yourself, and a gift does not pay for, or guarantee, a particular kit being sent to a particular person.
Mistakes and refunds
Because a donation is a gift, it is not normally refundable once it has been made. If you gave the wrong amount, gave twice by accident or made a payment in error, please contact us as soon as you notice and tell us the date, the amount and the email address you used. We will put it right where we can.
Your information
We use the details you give us to take your donation, send your receipt and keep the charity’s financial records. Our privacy policy explains how we look after your information and the rights you have over it.
If you are not happy
If you have a concern about how a donation has been handled, please tell us through our contact page and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your gift is the one published on this page when you gave it. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
