The Infinity Initiative
A space for comfort, reflection and healing
The Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital is a dedicated therapeutic and reflective space, providing comfort and support to families experiencing grief, loss and heartbreak.
A dedicated space
Why the Infinity Room exists
The Infinity Room was created by Noah’s Story Charity at Causeway Hospital - a dedicated therapeutic and reflective space where families experiencing grief, loss and heartbreak can find comfort and support.
It grew from Corrina and Johnny McAleese’s determination that Noah’s life and legacy would continue to make a meaningful difference. Having understood first-hand the importance of compassionate support, meaningful remembrance and opportunities to remain connected to those we love, they set out to create environments that help individuals and families navigate loss.
The Infinity Room is that commitment made real: a calm space within the hospital where grief is met with kindness and understanding.

What the room represents
Comfort, reflection, remembrance and hope
For the families who spend time in the Infinity Room, it represents four things.
-
Comfort during crisis
A calm place to be during the hardest of moments, offering comfort and support when it is needed most.
-
Reflection during loss
A quiet, reflective space where thoughts and feelings can be given the time and stillness they deserve.
-
Space for remembrance
Somewhere to remember the person who has died, and to hold on to the love, memory and connection that continue.
-
Hope during heartbreak
A gentle reminder that hope and heartbreak can exist side by side, and that families do not face loss alone.
Your light still finds its way to me… to Infinity and Beyond.
Noah's Story Charity
In memory of Noah
A poem, written for Noah
Alongside Noah’s photograph, a memorial plaque in the Infinity Room carries this poem, written for him.
In curls of gold, the sunlight played,
On little feet that danced all day.
With Woody and Buzz by his side,
Through fields of dreams, he’d laugh and ride. His tractors rumbled, diggers spun,
A tiny world of endless fun.
Each moment bright, each giggle free,
A gift of joy for all to see.But sometimes skies turn dark too soon,
And steal away the sweetest tune.
Yet love remains, it lingers near,
In every heart that holds him dear.So here’s a space, calm, warm, and true,
A softer place for those who knew
The weight of loss, the heavy skies
And yet still see love in their eyes. For Noah’s light will never fade,
It shines in every choice we’ve made.
The Infinity Room, his gentle flame,
Will always whisper out his name.

Why it matters
A cornerstone of our work
The Infinity Room continues to serve as a cornerstone of Noah’s Story Charity’s work. It shows what the charity was founded to do - create practical resources and environments that help individuals and families navigate loss.
Alongside our Good Grief Kits, the room reflects the belief at the heart of everything we do: that love, memory and connection continue long after death.

Status: Our ambition
Additional Infinity Spaces
Our 2027–2031 strategy sets out an ambition to explore opportunities for additional Infinity Spaces across Northern Ireland, and to develop remembrance and wellbeing environments in healthcare and community settings. These are aspirations we are working towards - the Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital is currently the only Infinity Space.
The Infinity Initiative
Where we hope to take the Infinity Initiative
The Infinity Room is the current flagship project of the Infinity Initiative - our commitment to developing spaces and projects that promote reflection, remembrance and emotional wellbeing.
Between 2027 and 2031, we aim to:
- Evaluate the impact of the Infinity Room
- Increase awareness of the room among healthcare professionals and families
- Explore opportunities for additional Infinity Spaces across Northern Ireland
- Develop remembrance and wellbeing environments in healthcare and community settings
Each of these is an ambition, not a finished piece of work. You can read more about how it fits together in our 2027–2031 strategy.
