Donate to Noah’s Story Charity

Noah's Story Charity was founded by Corrina and Johnny McAleese, Noah's parents, so that Noah's life and legacy would continue to make a meaningful difference. Every donation supports accessible bereavement support for children, young people, adults and families across Northern Ireland.

Compassion and transparency

Given with love, used with care

Noah’s Story Charity was founded from the McAleese family’s determination that Noah’s life and legacy would continue to make a meaningful difference. Following the devastating loss of Noah, his parents Corrina and Johnny recognised a significant gap in accessible bereavement support for children, young people, adults and families across Northern Ireland.

Donations help us answer that gap. Every gift supports our mission: to provide accessible bereavement support, promote grief-informed communities and develop meaningful opportunities for remembrance, resilience and continuing bonds. In practice, that means the Good Grief Programme and its four age-stage kits, the Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital, and the next phase of our work set out in our 2027–2031 strategy - beginning with the Year One pilot, our first Good Grief Partner Practice, and reaching towards our ambitions for grief-aware sporting communities, schools and local communities.

No pressure, ever

Grief and money should never be tangled together. There is no expected amount, no urgency and no obligation - please only give in a way that feels right for you. Every gift, of any size, is received with gratitude.

And if you have arrived here because someone important in your life has died, please feel free to put this page aside - the right place to begin is How we can help.

Openness about how gifts are used

Donations sit alongside grants, trusts, corporate partnerships and community fundraising in resourcing our work. Gifts made through this page are received by Noah’s Story Charity directly, and you will be sent a receipt by email as soon as your donation is confirmed.

Ways to give

Ways to support
our work

However you choose to give, your support helps bring Good Grief Kits to more families, helps care for the Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital, and helps us work towards everything set out in our 2027–2031 plan.

  • Make a donation

A gift of any size supports the work of Noah's Story Charity across Northern Ireland - promoting grief awareness, supporting healthy bereavement, and creating practical resources and environments that help individuals and families navigate loss.

    Donate
  • Give towards the Good Grief Programme

The Good Grief Programme provides practical, evidence-informed bereavement kits for four ages and stages - Littles (3–8), Middles (8–12), Teens (12–18) and Adults (18+) - grounded in Continuing Bonds Theory. A gift towards Good Grief helps bring these kits to more children, young people, adults and families.

  • Donate a Good Grief Kit

Each Good Grief Kit is £22. You can donate a Good Grief Kit for the charity to pass on to a grieving child or adult who needs support - a practical way to place remembrance, comfort and connection into someone's hands at a difficult time.

  • Support the Infinity Initiative

The Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital is a cornerstone of our work - a dedicated space offering comfort during crisis, reflection during loss, space for remembrance and hope during heartbreak. Support for the Infinity Initiative helps us care for the room and explore opportunities for additional Infinity Spaces across Northern Ireland.

Whichever route you choose, your gift is received by Noah’s Story Charity and a receipt is emailed to you once the donation is confirmed. If you would rather give another way - or would like to talk to us about a gift in memory, a larger gift or donating a Good Grief Kit in person - please get in touch.

Please only ever give in the way that feels right for you. Every gift is received with gratitude.
